DIY Simple Exfoliating Body Scrub "RECIPE" is basically a 2-to-1 ratio of sugar to coconut oil and as many drop of essential oil as you like. I used about 3 or 4 drops. Put the amount of sugar you want in a jar or bowl, add 1/2 that amount of coconut oil that you have warmed up in the microwave for a few seconds to make it liquid and the lavender drops, and stir.

Sweet Orange Scrub ~ sea salt, raw sugar, coconut oil & sweet orange essential oil...heavenly (I like to add lavender as well)

Slough off dry winter skin with an invigorating homemade body scrub. It's easy, all-natural, and so inexpensive, you'll want to make enough for gifts. Combine 1 cup of body oil with 2 cups of Epsom or sea salts or organic cane sugar (depending on how fine a grain you like). We added lemon zest for color and fragrance. Package in jars (plastic is safest near the tub).

To create the scrub, just mix together half a cup of coarse brown sugar with a tablespoon of honey, a little olive oil, and 1/4 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, then apply all over your body and rinse. The scrub not only smells delicious, but leaves your skin feeling ultra-smooth.

Orange-Jasmine Scrub - To the jar of sea salts, add six drops of sweet orange essential oil and four drops of jasmine essential oil; shake to combine. Then, in a plastic pail, combine the scented salts, a few tablespoons of the oil you used for the Protective Hair Treatment, and two handfuls of very wet sand. Use your hands to blend the mixture. Sitting at the water's edge, work the scrub onto your arms and legs. Rinse your body clean in the waves.
