Activities to go with books by Laura Numeroff...ideas for the If You Give Give series

List of books in this post that are great for kiddos to draw what they are hearing while you read the stories, then have them retell what they drew/remember. Great discussion method.

FREE! I have my students fill this out in the beginning of the year. Then when it is time to choose authors for read-aloud books, prizes for Students of the Month, colors for student awards or folders, etc., I look at students' favorites lists. I even take their lists with me when shopping for holiday goodies so I can choose things in their favorite colors. :) Enjoy!

For introducing a new story. Have them fill it in as they read. Freebie

Summaries of some great back to school books that help you build your class community!
