Open Shelving with Tiffany Blue walls...very classy Shelf Solutions - use 1/2" pine boards with 1 1/2" pieces of flat stock pine attached to the front of each shelf giving the illusion of hefty (and pricey) shelving. Open shelves help make this galley kitchen seem larger and are a great way to store kitchen essentials. -- this would look cute in my dining room!

Love beadboard in a bathroom. This one is especially cheerful, and the painted, horizontal boards are great.

Put a shelf over a window and use the shelf brackets to hold a curtain rod- genius and beautiful AND gives a completely finished off look

Colored Kitchen Cabinets

So many things I love here: the open shelves, the lovely window seat (never seen one in a kitchen before), and especially the drawers! I rented a house once that had drawers instead of lower cabinets, and it made cooking so much easier! My dream kitchen will definitely have drawers instead of bottom cupboards!!!

White on white kitchen, pale green beadboard, drawer cup pulls, cabinet knobs, white subway backsplash, neutral island
