To be happy, we seek something. But despite getting it, we are not happy. All of one’s life is spent in preparing to be happy someday in the future. It’s like making a bed all night, but having no time to sleep. How many minutes, hours and days have we spent our life being happy from within? Those are the only moments we have really lived life. __ Photo: Lord Ganesha tattoo.

i like the outline and placement. by mav mess at deluxe parlor tattoo, in portland, oregon.

natural and yet stylized...multi-faceted surfaces.. I love this tattoo on a man, very beautiful- shows that nature and beauty is for any sex or gender..

Henna. Temporary. Although I wouldn't get a permanent tattoo, I've always been intrigued by henna designs. This one is beautiful, but too showy for me. I'd put something small on an ankle or a shoulder blade.

ganesha henna; LOVE this! He is the remover of obstacles. Perhaps I need a full body tat of him (just kidding) but i do wish I had a statue of him....

Tatoo Art Fest 2010 seen on dprezat´s flickr-- Great inspiration for Zentangles.

So many awesome elements all incorporated into one piece… usually I would hate a tattoo that runs straight down the back and doesn’t make use of the space on either side of the spine, but in this case, the negative space serves a design function, as the "corset" element. Clever design and beautiful execution.
