    The good old days. I wish people would write letters nowadays, just to do it. To encourage someone, tell them something, ask them how they are doing, etc. There's a place in your heart where handwritten letters fit, where when you get one from a friend, you feel...amazing. Or at least I do. Maybe it's just me. But one thing's for sure; hand written letters are special. :)

Fisher Price Little People Schoolhouse...I LOVED this set. Loved the playground too and my "kids" had alot of recess... Has a bell in the belltower that DINGS when you push the button on top.

Mimeograph machine - Teachers would use this to print worksheets for the class. If you were lucky, they were at your desk fresh and COLD and smelling wonderful!! Someone should have bottled that smell! --- and that purple color :)

Label Maker. I still have my dad's and all the unused tape from the 70s

Crayola Crayons - remember "Prussian blue" and "spring green"? Ahhh...the 64 box. I remember opening it and marveling at all the colors. The eager expectation of using that wonderful sharpener. Oh, and the smell... there was nothing like it. Even now, when I open a new box of crayons the happy memories just flood back and I smile.

Critter Sitters - loved them! I mademy slam book in a bigger size CritterSitters

They had these chairs at the Baskin Robbins ice cream shop when I was a kid. We would sit and eat our cones sitting in a row.. :)

The only time I could talk to my friends during class was when getting out a book from the under desk shelf.

Yes I used these to basically make my hair look like I had stuck my finder in an electrical socket!
