      Pesto Orecchiette With Chicken Sausage Recipe I followed this recipe pretty much to a tee except I used the whole box of DeCecco orecchiette pasta and all four of Aidells Italian style smoke chicken sausage with mozzarella cheese. I also added about 1/3 cup plus about a tblsp. of pesto sauce. I also did salt and pepper to taste. I think the sausage needs to browned to get a nice crispness to it. My kids pick out the green beans but eat the peas. Trust me, use the orecchiette if you can find it.
