Here is another example of using that unused space of stair risers to give a space a boost! Use a design or just a color to change a narrow stair case or to add some interest into a grand stairway.

Gradient coral pink stairs, such a great idea to use with any color in my future home!

Funky functional little staircase! This stained pine staircase is so beautiful and functional. Pine 1x12s are very inexpensive, and this flooring is such an attractive feature! - funky functional small space -

I feel like if I had this I counldn't have any thing pink in the room I would paint it white or black

I wish I had the means to decorate and customize my own home. Of course that would mean needing a home to start with!

These are awesome! If I'm ever rich enough to build my own house, I'm totally putting these in!

I love the idea of a "ranch" or one floor house, but if we had a staircase, i am very fond of this idea :) also, no carpet on stairs, as a reminder for self, since i tend to fall down them all the time and they are a major pain in the rear to vacuum.

Ombre wall. Love the subtlety here. Very gradual movement of colors. This is beautiful and I'm not a pink person. But great idea. This would add light to my wall, movement. Without being garish and obvious. I don't want a paint chip on my wall or furniture for goodness sake.

I'd love for our console table to look weathered and lovely like these chairs by the time we're done with it.
