Folk Singer Joan Baez Strumming Her Guitar on the Beach Near Her Home

Joan Baez (Solo folk & country vocalist & instrumentalist. Prominent member of the counterculture movement, social activist, & original performer at Woodstock. Given honorary Doctor of Human Letters degrees by Antioch University & Rutgers University for her political activism & universality of music. Received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, & became the subject of the Amnesty International Joan Baez Award for humanitarian work)

Joan Baez is a famous American Folk Singer. As a teen she attended Redlands Senior High in the mid 1950's. My mom and Joan became friends while they sang together in the Choir which later lead to a musical collaboration in recording a red vinyl record together. What a treasure!
