    I really dislike those long pins, but this is such a great idea, I'm pinning it anyway. Easy Cardboard Box Organizer. Shown here, it's holding shoes, but you could store anything: magazines, files, craft supplies, etc. I would also cover or paint it rather than leave the plain cardboard.

    Buy a cheap clock, hot glue fabric rosettes around it... Don't love the flowers, but it's a great tip to use whatever one likes!
