Denim rag quilt. So I have a tub of jeans that the kids have out grown or have blown out the knees in.. Wondering if it is worth moving or if I should just start cutting them up when I start to go through the hall closet before the movers come. hmm.. My mother has made one of these for my daddy, herself, my brother, my sister-in-law, my daughter and me. Ours have scraps from old flannel shirts and other saved fabrics mixed in with new flannels that she bought. She has also made one for each of my cousin's three little girls and for my best friend's new baby. They are precious! They are made of 'cutsey' baby flannels.
Beautiful throw! You could even do this to put on your bed, make shams and valances for your windows. What a unique way to decorate your bedroom for fall. Or any season, depending on the colors you use. I have my next project in mind.
