Ok so the whole dining room concept does absolutely zilch for me (not loving the mismatched chairs which, were they vintage/antique wooden ones would be interesting but with the slip-covered look is just awkward and, quite frankly, ugly). But I absolutely ADORE the china cabinet, wide-plank wooden floors and industrial lighting. Dining room, now this is very eclectic you got a couple of beautiful rich wood tone antiques. then couple farm chairs a modern chair. well its just a mix. but thats what i love now. using pieces you love and you can live on.. and live with...
This is similar to the wall treatment I designed for front room using barn beam we inherited ,but couldn't talk hubby into building it, so went with floor to ceiling entertainment / shelving unit instead. Still my 1st choice, still hoping! My plans included flexibility and changeable shelves, as these look to be.
