Quilt as you GO - this is a clearly written tutorial - and because of the fabrics chosen, it is also easy to understand via the pix. I have been looking for a tutorial this understandable. Plus her finished product looks neat/tidy. I have 16x16 dresden blocks that I finished yrs ago I quilt all my quilts on my reg machine & have been worried about putting them together and trying to quilt so I am definitely going to be trying this method of QAYG very good directions. Thank you ladies
Prep work, but easy. Basically, either use a wire wreath form OR wire coat hanger shaped into a circle. Cut fabric strips to 1"x6" then just tied in a knot all the way around wire form. Can mix patterns or make solid. Best part: use fabric scraps and a hanger and it's all FREE!
So easy to sew: it's just 4 rectangles. Measure shoulder to hem length, then girth at widest part (hips?) and divide by 4. Add seam allowance. Sew allowing for neckline, arm holes. No pattern needed. 1/2 hour, max!
