DIY herb gardens. Cut the soda bottle or any plastic bottle with a cover. Turn upside down; attach to board. I'm thinking of leaving the cover to the bottle on; punch in a few holes to drain excess water, but not have the soil drain out also.

Got Herbs? Try this out in a Hanging Pocket Shoe Rack -This is perfect if you just have a small outdoor space. Just poke a few holes on the bottom of each pouch and fill with good soil, then a small rooted herb plant. If you water from the top, it trickles down to the lower 'pocket', like a waterfall, so don't over water!

Now I know what to do with my shoe hanger when I move into the duplex. We need a way to grow stuff without crowding the patio or taking up space on the grass. Schweet!
