THE CHOSEN ONE by Carol Lynch Williams. A teen girl is forced to marry the elder of her Mormon compound. But she has other ideas. This is the first modern young adult book that I read when I switched to writing YA. Great story. THE CHOSEN ONE opened my eyes to the almost limitless possibilities of the YA genre.
