Pumpkin French toast. I am soooo making this. Update: Made this, finally. It has more of a mild pumpkin flavor than I expected but it's very good. I used twice the cinnamon the recipe called for, plus I used cinnamon chip bread from Great Harvest - it was awesome. I will definitely be making this again. Pumpkin Dip: 1 (8 ounce) pack cream cheese, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 cups pumpkin puree, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp cloves, 1/4 tsp nutmeg. Cream the cream cheese. Mix in the sugar followed by the spices and then the pumpkin puree. Cover and chill overnight in the fridge. Serve with ginger snaps.
Pumpkin French Toast Bake Part 1 Ingredients •3 1/2 – 4 1/2 cups 1-inch bread cubes (depending on type of bread) •7 large eggs •2 cups milk •1 tsp vanilla extract •1 1/2 tsp plus a dash or three pumpkin pie spice and 1/8 cup of brown sugar •1/2 cup pumpkin puree •3-4 tablespoons brown sugar for topping •nuts, like pecan or walnuts (optional)
