Mammoth Caves-I love caves! I guess I was here as a child, but don't remember it specifically because we visited several.

Mammoth Cave National Park preserves the cave system and a part of the Green River valley and hilly country of south central Kentucky. This is the world's longest known cave system, with more than 390 miles explored. Early guide Stephen Bishop called the cave a "grand, gloomy and peculiar place," but its vast chambers and complex labyrinths have earned its name - Mammoth.

American has so much to offer. I am on a quest to visit as many national parks as possible. I think this on needs to be added near the top of the list.

One of the coolest things about living in the west is how many amazing national parks are within driving distance. Since we saw the Painted Desert, I have been dying to see more badlands, and Badlands National Park is only about six hours away from us.
