Monte Cristo Sandwiches, one of my favorites.....instead of the syrup or jam suggested by the author, I use honey mustard to dip my sandwich in! I leave out the brown sugar from the egg mixture as well. I am not fond of sweet, unless it is PB!!

Monte Cristo Sandwich: 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard; 2 boxes frozen French toast; 1 package thinly sliced ham; 1 package thinly sliced turkey; 12 slices Swiss cheese; 3 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional); and 6 tablespoons butter, at room temperature.
