First, I study/live there so I walk there every day, so I recognize it. It's the Oude Gracht, which means Old Canal. Second, the canals are different from those in Amsterdam. The canals in Utrecht are unique so no place in Holland (or the world) has the same canals as Utrecht. You can see that on the 'werfs' which are the docks/yards next to the water and the cellars. You can find a lot of restaurants there (not this part of the Oude Gracht) and in summer you can sit outside next to the water :)
