ROOTBEER FLOAT CAKE Recipe says to bake for 35-40 minutes, I baked it for about 55 minutes. The cake was pretty moist so I skipped the frosting and just served it with vanilla ice cream. It was a good chocolate cake - but you had to pause with a mouth full and really think about tasting the root beer. Root Beer Float Cake-- I think it could be made into a round cake. The Fudge Root Beer frosting could be the filling and then it could be frosted with a vanilla butter cream and decorated with more of the chocolate filling and crushed root beer barrel candies. I'd love to try it! Good and tasty recipe. I'd leave it a little less lumpy, but it had a nice crumb
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or lightly sweetened whipped cream frosting for a root beer float taste!
Root Beer Float Cake | Here's a cake recipe I had bookmarked for over a year.
