Graduation gift…

Cool idea! Once a month for their lives, put $10 in a photo album for your kids....around $2000 by the time they graduate/turn 18. what a wonderful gift to start out their "new lives"! maybe wait until they get married??

Positive reinforcement jar ~ Put a cotton ball, marble, pom-pom, etc. in every time you catch your child being good. Do something special when it's full.

31 quarters in the jar at the beginning of the month, every day that they do not do their chores, they lose a quarter. Whatever is left at the end of the month they exchange for cash and the quarter jar is refilled. Not to do "allowance" for chores, but rather teach chores/responsibilities as how they contribute to family. Interesting perspective.
