Homemade-- Mod Podge in a Pint Jar (matte) Fill jar half way up with white glue (like Elmers) Then fill jar up with water. Shake Well. This is a 50-50 mixture glue/water. It will have a Matte finish. If you would like a Glossy finish, add 1 TBS of clear varnish. Shake it! I have already pinned a Mod Podge recipe, but this one is more specific in terms of finish :)

Homemade mod podge recipe 1 1/2 cups Flour 1/4 of a cup of granulated sugar 1/4 tsp olive oil 1 cup water Turn your stove on low heat, add the water, oil, flour, and sugar to the saucepan (You can add more or less water and/or flour to get the consistency you desire, and you can add more oil for a glossier varnish). Heat the mixture over low to medium heat and stir. Do not let it boil. Empty contents into mason jar and let cool to room temperature. Shake before using.

Mod Podge. Love the stuff, but after a while it can get quite expensive. So for years now I’ve used Elmer's School Glue. I buy it by the gallon and make up the Mod Podge recipe as I need it in a mason jar. Just add half water, half Elmer's glue, replace the lid, shake it up and you’re ready to go. If you need it thicker, use less water! My preferred rate of dilution is 3/4 Glue, 1/4 water.
