Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Brush both side of potato slices with butter; place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned on both sides, turning once. When potatoes are ready, top with bacon and cheese and continue baking until the cheese has melted. Uses Hawaiian rolls to make ham and Swiss sliders. Made these last night (4-6-12) and loved the combination of slightly sweet rolls and savory topping! The only thing I'd change is to cook it a little more than the recipe says after you take the foil off. Just be sure the tops are lightly crispy or it's a bit soggy on top (but even then, was delish!).
