Parent Communication Log- Don't really need one this elementary, but my goal this year is to contact every parent at least once per semester... especially for the students who are doing great or are showing improvement! (:

Weekly Progress Report. A nice way to improve parent-school communication - the parents initial the page each week and return it. Add to student file to discuss at report card conference time. Looks like it would be a quick and easy checklist to complete each week. Concerned about the paper not being returned each week? My students have a communication duo-tang that goes from home to school each day, so I will attach the progress report in there to keep it from getting lost!

Keeping track of those who have turned in work and who have not. Have a list of the students' names and cross them out when the kids turn in their work. So simple!

Classroom Management

How to Manage a Classroom? Any ideas to add?

An entire site devoted to bulletin board ideas, organized by season, grade level, theme, etc.

Teacher Binder for next year (lesson plans, calendar, parent communication, assessment data, professional dev. log, etc.) I REALLY need to organize my binder like this!

Teacher Organization Binder -- to keep schedules, class lists, student contact info, conference times, assessment scores, curriculum and testing calendars, grading requirements/spreadsheet with grades, lesson plan ideas, team meeting notes, faculty/site-based meeting notes, PLC meeting notes, and an ez-grader in the back pocket......Great idea for our archives with the new Coach eval system

This is an AMAZING lesson planning app. You can email the plans, print them out, etc., for record keeping purposes. Color coded for each student's records.
