Longhorn Steakhouse Black and Blue Margarita.. Serve on the rocks. Berry Puree: 1 pt each black and blue berries. 1/4 c sugar Juice of 1/2 lime. Add the berries,sugar and lime juice to a med saucepan. Cook on low, covered, 20 to 25 min. Using fine mesh strainer, press the berries to extract all juice/puree. re-frigerate to cool completely. LIME SUGAR: 2 c sugar Zest of 3 limes. 1 lime wedge / Mix sugar and lime zest. Use lime wedge to rim the glasses, dip in the lime sugar. See comments!

    RECIPE CONTINUED: MARGARITAS: 2 c tequila 1/2 c triplesec 1/2 c sugar 2 limes Ice. In blender add 1 c tequila, 1/4 c triple sec, 1/4 c sugar, and juice of 1 lime. Fill with ice(for frozen) blend til smooth. Add 1/3 to 1/2 cup of puree.Serve in 4 rim-med glasses,serve immediately. Repeat with the rest of the ingredients for the other 4 glasses. SERVES 8 April Green
