Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen is a sweet read. The description of the cottage is what sticks out most to me; it features a library, 3 bedrooms, a parlour, etc. But they think of it as kind of quaint, so funny. The story itself is filled with emotional problems, most relatable even through the turn of the century, and it has a happy ending. The perfect read for a vacation or a get away from school.
