The girl's father was passing away in the hospital and the last thing he did was write a letter to her mother-- and at the end it read: "Tell morgan I love her." She got it tattooed in his handwriting in memory <3 This is the sort of reason I'd get a tattoo; otherwise I just can't justify inking myself permanently

Very sweet. "This is a tattoo I got very recently for my dad who passed away. He said “tell Morgan I love her” in the last letter he wrote to my sister so I had them tattoo his exact hand writing. I’m so in love with it. It’s so simple and yet has so much meaning behind it. It’s a reminder to myself everyday that I am loved." I did the same thing with my moms handwriting from a birthday card

Holly Valence's text tattoo on the back of the leg/ankle/calf. Great placement with Hebrew text which translates to: "This too shall pass"

(a girl got her parents' handwriting from her birthday cards and made them her tattoos after they passed away)

(not my story but C.A.F!!!) Story of this tattoo : I got these a couple months ago for my parents who passed away when I was in high school. Its exact copies of their handwriting from birthday cards. I absolutely love them.

This one by far means the most to mean out of all 5 of my tattoos… Its in my grandma’s handwriting from a letter she wrote me before she passed away while going through cancer treatments. And I got a rose beside it cause the last thing I said and did for her was say I love you and placed a rose in her casket. She’s forever my guardian angel, hero, bestfriend, and my grandma and not a day goes by that I dont think about her. I love you 6-18-06 :’)…. Done at Body Partz in Cookeville Tennessee b...

.Abracadabra was a magic word, the letters of which were arranged in an inverted pyramid and worn as an amulet around the neck to protect the wearer against disease or trouble. One fewer letter appeared in each line of the pyramid, until only a remained to form the vertex of the triangle. As the letters disappeared, so supposedly did the disease or trouble.

I really like this one! The story is so great. This girl's boyfriend is a marine and is deployed, he writes he letters and always signs them "I am forever yours, I promise..." So, she got Forever Yours in his handwriting. ♥

My mom passed away two and a half years ago. She used to send my brother and I cards whenever she went away on business trips and she’d sign every one the same way. I got this at Curious Tattoo in College Park, Maryland. Ryan did an amazing job reproducing my mom’s handwriting. I could not be happier with the way this turned out and I am excited to have a piece of her with me at all times.

My dad's handwriting... A note he wrote to my mom ♥
