Hold on Tight bookshelf by ColleenAndEric.com - Even in the digital age, we all still have personal libraries of books we just can't let go of. Use the Hold on Tight bookshelf to keep your most treasured books upright, on display, and close at hand. A brightly-coloured aluminum cube and oversized wing nut serve as a sliding bookend which can be adjusted and secured wherever it is needed, whether your book collection is growing or shrinking. Offered in Beech, Walnut and Oak. (41"L x 11"H x 8"D).

Do you have a bunch of prints you want to hang but dont want to commit to framing them or want...

This is really cute. I think it would look good in pink in a little girls room or a playroom.

This half round walnut shelf is a subtle and versatile way to decorate your home. It can be used on a sunny wall to hold small plants, to display

TO DO: Check out birch trees in backyard for potential branches for this project. If nothing promising, then head for the woods!

Hanging Shelf: This is a cool idea (especially for in front of a window). Get the hardware store to drill four holes (2 on each end) and then pull four strands of knotted rope through each hole. Gather at the top (knot again) and hang from hooks. (Maria of Folksy Home has a tutorial for a hanging shelf like this on her blog here.) Image via lolalina.com via vtwonen..
