Cake balls are the best!!!! I'm trying this recipe from Bakerella.com... 1box of red velvet cake mix, 1 can cream cheese frosting. Bake the cake in 13*9, let cool, crumble in a bowl and mix with frosting. Roll mix into balls. Chill or freeze. Dip in melted chocolate. Add your favorite sprinkles! Thanks Bakerella!!!

cake balls -- I've made these a couple of times and they are AMAZING!!! I used chocolate cake though.

Simple way to present cake balls. I might even substitute real mini roses or other flower instead of the candied roses for a soft, fresh look.

Oh yes please! Red velvet cake balls made from scratch with a dark chocolate candy coating.

Recipe for Red Velvet Brownies with White Chocolate Buttercream Frosting - I nearly had to wipe the drool off of my keyboard from when I came across the recipe. A chewy, dense, bright red (and in my opinion, all red velvet should be) brownie topped with a fluffy white chocolate buttercream frosting that actually tastes like the white chocolate I fell in love with as a child.
