"Were she better or you sicker, then the stars would not be so terribly crossed, but it is the nature of stars to cross, and never was Shakespeare more wrong than when he had Cassius note, “The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars / But in ourselves.” Easy enough to say when you’re a Roman nobleman (or Shakespeare!), but there is no shortage of fault to be found amid our stars." I am totally obsessing over this book right now

Young Adult fiction too! The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten.
"John Green's The Fault in Our Stars is by far my favorite book of 2012. Debuting at #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list, this Young Adult novel will resonate with teens and adults alike."
It’s hard to keep copies of The Fault in our Stars on our book club shelves, but your club should definitely put this young adult book on your reading list. Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award- winning author John Green’s heartbreaking, but often humorous, story of two teenagers with cancer who fall in love.
New book review: Existentialism, Absurdity, Modernism, suffering, beauty, love, death, and life: This book has it all. Check out the literary excellence of The Fault in Our Stars.
A video book review of The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. One of the top picks from ITS librarians for your book club to read.
The Fault In Our Stars by John Green...young adult, but it's AWESOME! The two main characters are super smart and their dialog is great.
YOUNG ADULT PICK! The Fault in our Stars / John Green ~ Diagnosed with Stage IV thyroid cancer at 12, Hazel was prepared to die until, at 14, a medical miracle shrunk the tumours in her lungs... for now. Even though she could live for a long time (whatever that means), Hazel lives tethered to an oxygen tank, the tumours tenuously kept at bay with a constant chemical assault. Bring a box of tissues.

One of my all-time favorite books. I have read this book more than any other - I don't even know how many times I've read it - because it is such a great book and so short. I am sure I'll read it again someday. I love the way Harper Lee wrote, and the era, characters, and story are terrific. Atticus Finch is one of my favorite literary characters.

Young Adult Fiction #Book Review: Graceling by Kristin Cashore #books #reading @ thesceniclife.com - Robust and well-written, with an elaborate world and characters I really cared about.
Graceling by Kristin Cashore This book is a fantasy, romance, self-discovery, action book. Extremely well-written. I find it incredibly hard to pick a favorite book, but this one certaintly qualifies! No, on second thought, the entire series is my favorite book(s)!
Graceling by Kristin Cashore In a world where people born with an extreme skill—called a Grace—are feared and exploited, Katsa carries the burden of the skill even she despises: the Grace of killing. She lives under the command of her uncle Randa, King of the Middluns, and is expected to execute his dirty work, punishing and torturing anyone who displeases him.
RELIANCE ENTERTAINMENT: Reliance and MPC's Deepak Nayar acquire rights to Kristin Cashore’s bestselling young adult fantasy trilogy.
Graceling - an amazing book Katsa, a smart, beautiful girl who lives in a world where selected people are given a Grace, a special talent that can be anything from dancing to swimming. Katsa’s is killing. As the king’s niece, she is forced to use her extreme skills as his thug. Along the way, Katsa must learn to decipher the true nature of her Grace . . . and how to put it to good use. A thrilling, action-packed fantasy adventure
Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1) "In a world where people born with an extreme skill - called a Grace - are feared and exploited, Katsa carries the burden of the skill even she despises: the Grace of killing. She lives under the command of her uncle Randa, King of the Middluns, and is expected to execute his dirty work, punishing and torturing anyone who displeases him." This is my least favorite of the three but still my top third favorite book! :)
Why I picked it up: I read this book a few years ago and had originally picked it up because I enjoyed the cover and was really into reading books with strong female characters. I came across it again while putting books up one day and I remembered really enjoying it. I had recently read Bitterblue, the third book in the Graceling Realm Series, but couldn’t clearly remember what had happened in the first two books so I decided to re-read them!
