Hardwood Floor Cleaning Solution- 1 cup vinegar, 1 cup alcohol and 1 cup water. We pour them into a spray bottle along with 3 drops of natural dish soap and 15 drops essential oil. We shake it well and after the floor is vacuumed, we spray the solution and wipe it with a microfiber cloth.
Use boiling water and two teabags to clean hardwood floors. The tannic acid in tea creates a beautiful shine for hardwood floors. Let two teabags steep in the boiling water for a few minutes. Pour the tea into a bucket. Take a soft cloth and wring it out in the tea. The cloth merely needs to be damp
What You'll Need: 1 gallon of hot water, 3/4 cup of olive oil, 1/2 cup lemon juice. Directions: Clean and Polish your hardwood floors. The hot water and lemon clean the floor and the olive oil leaves a natural sheen. Apply with a mop that has been wrung out very well, then let it dry. No need to rinse afterwards - once it dries your floors will look great.
I've done this before and it's time again: Wash your towels in hot water with a cup of vinegar, and then run again in hot water with a half-cup of baking soda. That will strip your towels from all of that residue and mildew smell and will actually leave them feeling fluffy and smelling fresh. (Do not add laundry detergent to either wash. Just once with vinegar and once with baking soda.) good to know for the future. by Kmpassion
