One section of mud hut. Love how plain white paint can do so much. This speaks to how important design is.

Indian Interiors. Post by Moon to Moon. This is a follow-up post from a previous one. When I saw these in the initial post I feel in love with them. I love it when art/beauty collide with life in unexpected ways. These ornate adobe painted walls are inspiring.

Occasionally I have uber-hippy fantasies of living in one of these cob houses, with all-solar power and recycled water and all that. But then I remember they're always in the desert and you just couldn't pay me enough. But hey, this one has books!
