My mother has made one of these for my daddy, herself, my brother, my sister-in-law, my daughter and me. Ours have scraps from old flannel shirts and other saved fabrics mixed in with new flannels that she bought. She has also made one for each of my cousin's three little girls and for my best friend's new baby. They are precious! They are made of 'cutsey' baby flannels.

Very cute quilt idea - no tutorial (old etsy listing)

LOVING the idea of keeping one side of the quilt raw, and other normal... these fabrics are beautiful

Beautiful throw! You could even do this to put on your bed, make shams and valances for your windows. What a unique way to decorate your bedroom for fall. Or any season, depending on the colors you use. I have my next project in mind.

pretty rag quilts made from 280 6 inch rotary cut squares & 140 Warm & Natural 5 inch rotary cut batting squares

I am working on five different rag quilts right now... first time making them and I am liking how they are turning out!

Black and white quilt! Use fabric that will fray (i.e. double flannel), after all pieces are sewn together, the raw seams must each be clipped about every 1/2" and then the blanket washed/rinsed and dried in dryer to produce the most 'fuzzy' seams.
