Simply rub onto greasy stains and the chalk powder will absorb the grease, making the stain easily removable by the laundry soap in the wash.
To get stains out "[pre-treat] with a solution of 3 tablespoons white vinegar, 2 tablespoons liquid detergent and 1 liter warm water. Rub the solution into the stain, then blot it dry before washing." After pre-treating the stain wash as normal. This is a great tip for not only getting to keep some of your favorite clothes, but also saving money on expensive stain removers!
Use Chalk to Get Rid of Grease Stains -Instead of using extra laundry detergent to pre-treat stains, use white chalk instead. Simply rub it on greasy stains and the chalk powder will absorb the grease, making the stain easily removable by the laundry soap in the wash. It works wonders for everything from lipstick to bacon grease.
**Grease stain removal** Put dish soap w/oxy on the stains & rub in to the fabric. Let it soak in hot water for 15 min. Wash as normal & let it air dry (in case the stains didn't come out). If the grease stain is still there after washing and drying, you'll need to "reactivate" the grease stain by spraying it with WD 40 (sounds counter intuitive, right?), then putting Dawn soap on it, let it sit for a few minutes, rub the spot with an old toothbrush and then wash. Comes right out.
