Switch: How to Change Things When Change Is Hard: Chip Heath, Dan Heath "In a compelling, story-driven narrative, the Heaths bring together decades of counterintuitive research in psychology, sociology, and other fields to shed new light on how we can effect transformative change. Switch shows that successful changes follow a pattern, a pattern you can use to make the changes that matter to you, whether your interest is in changing the world or changing your waistline."
This part love story, part mystery, part ghost story will have you flipping pages until the wee hours of the morning
The Lowland-Masterly suspenseful, sweeping, piercingly intimate, The Lowland is a work of great beauty and complex emotion; an engrossing family saga and a story steeped in history that spans generations and geographies with seamless authenticity. It is Jhumpa Lahiri at the height of her considerable powers.
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. This book is a big inspiration for me. This is a great motivation to always believe in everything that you do. To always believe in your own Truth. To always believe that you are Love.
This reminds me of my 6th grade classroom. We built a reading corner using cardboard boxes almost to the ceiling. It was painted to look like a castle. Inside the 'shelves' were filled with books. The floor was scattered with cushions and beanbags ... ah the memories :)
