    I hope "skinny" is a dying trend, curse you Twiggy. Strong is beautiful. I have lost 30 lbs. in 4 months and am still going, every damn day. Like I previously stated, everything else I enjoy is going to kill me. Fitness in popular culture: Nike Women Campaign, P90X, Insanity, The Biggest Loser, MTV's The Challenge, Pinterest. Body image, desire to be healthy, self control, self confidence, and again with wanting to belong, are all factors in the new burst of popularity in fitness.

Backonpointe has got it going on. I can do her workouts anywhere and while they look easy...well lets just say looking and doing are two different things!

Something I have to tell myself every time I work out. I guess it originates from years of playing team sports. Competition runs in my blood but if I can harness and focus it properly it only works in my benefit.
