(Closed with Kat) Katia had woken up minutes ago, in more pain than ever before. The hospital refused to give her any pain meds, in fear of her getting addicted. Immediately, the weight of what had happened rested on her heart heavily. She knew she would have a lot to explain, but it wasn't even all that clear to her. Carefully, Katia stood up and headed over to the window, staring out over the dimming sky. Every movement ached, but she couldn't stay in bed. Behind her, door creaked open.
