Death-by-Butter-Cookies (a.k.a., Gooey Butter Cookies): 1 box Duncan Hines butter recipe cake mix, 1 stick butter, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, 1 pkg cream cheese @ room temperature (8 oz. pkg), 1 egg. Combine all ingredients with electric mixer until well blended. Chill dough for two hours. Roll into balls (about walnut size). Roll balls in powdered sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar when completely cooled.
Sopapilla Cheesecake - Spread 1 can crescent rolls on bottom of pan. Combine 2 pks. of softened cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla. Spread mixture over crescent rolls. Unroll and spread another can of crescent rolls over mixture. Spread 1/4 cup melted butter over top, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 350° for 20-30 minutes.

A decent cookie, but disappointed. I used a devil's chocolate cake mix and I guess it overpowered the cream cheese, because it tastes like a regular double chocolate chip cookie -- it's hard to work with, the batter is very dry. Easy Snickerdoodles Cookies ~ 18 1/4 oz White Cake Mix, 1/2 c Butter melted, 1 Egg, 2 T Sugar, 1 tsp Cinnamon. Oven 350 (325 dark or non-stick). Mix cake mix, butter & egg till dough forms. Shape into 1" balls (rounded teaspoonful), roll balls in cinnamon/sugar mix. Place 2" apart on ungreased sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or till set. Remove & cool on wire rack.
Crack Cake- 1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix 1/4 c brown sugar, 1/4 c white sugar, 1 box vanilla pudding instant mix, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 4 eggs, 3/4 c water, 3/4 c oil,1/2 c white wine (really any kind) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix the above ingredients by hand or hand mixer. Grease a bundt pan. Pour into pan. Bake for one hour.
