Number sort

Number Sort - this can be adapted in many ways, sort by odd/ even, more than/ less than, multiples of etc. great idea

Good for number sequencing..I will be using it to practice the -teens and twenties! Write one number (11 through 20) (or 20-30etc) at the top of each of the craft sticks (same # on both the back and the front). Make a green Play-Doh "snake" (grass). Mix up the popsicle sticks, have students build a "fence" by putting the numbers in order.

Number Line Subtraction Game, also a Number Line Addition Game

use as sorter.. all 2s... all 3s ... all 4s... etc

Addition/Subtraction game. Students roll a dice, move that many spaces, add the number on the dice to the number card they landed on. Variations: +1/+2 dice. +10/+5 dice. How many more to make ten?

hide worms around room for chn to find and measure- can change object to measure to suit topic study for variety all year
