When you have a sweet tooth and want to stay on track, here's a nice treat. No flour OR sugar! 3 mashed bananas (ripe), 1/3 cup apple sauce, 2 cups oats, 1/4 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup raisins (optional), 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
Healthy Banana Cookies. 3 ripe bananas (mashed) 2 1/2 cup oats 1/3 cup applesauce 1/3 cup honey 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips (or more!) Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, and let them sit for 15 minutes. Then spoon the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Gooey Nutella Banana Bread: 2 cups all-purpose flour, 3/4 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 cup room temperature unsalted butter, 1 cup granulated sugar, 2 large eggs, 1 1/4 cups mashed ripe banana, 1/3 cup skim milk, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, 3/4 cup Nutella. Bake for 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees.
