I do this in my classroom too. The kids put it on their desk when they leave which lets me know who is gone and only let's one girl/boy out at a time. When they return they are reminded to use the sanitizer. The kids love it so have plenty of sanitizer on hand.

When kids are pulled for speech, OT, reading groups, etc., they put the cup on their desk to say they are out of the room. It makes it easy to glance around the room and see who has been pulled.

Ta-da!! Kids can bind the books they make with a hole punch, rubber band, and paper clip -- way more fun than stapling!

Bathroom sign out! OR ...could even serve as a place to "jot" teacher reminders at the door - so we don't forget! :-)
