Waterfall Braid - Here’s another gorgeous braid that makes a fabulous hairstyle for long hair! Again, it may be a little confusing at the start but once you’ve mastered the art, it will take you all of five minutes (if that). Basically it’s just a loose French braid that wraps around the back of your head. Take a small part of hair at the top of one side of your head and start braiding the hair three times like a French braid. Once you are done with the left hair section, drop the right strands

Cascade Braid--something that Mom tried on me a while back and that looked really cool. The brunette's looks far more... amazing. :)

Wish I knew how to braid because I am in love with this look!

Waterfall braid. Thanks - you patient & fine fingered friends for passing this on. I'll have a go as it looks beautiful. Can't imagine how it might turn out on my daughter's hair! Good job she lets me experiment. (I can't promise to show the end result ....) # Pin++ for Pinterest #

waterfall braid i wish i could do this

I couldn't do the braid all the way around myself but I got it halfway and then pulled the other side around and collected it in the back half up/half down. Turned out super cute! Definitely better on hair that is not freshly clean or add some texture with powder or hairspray first.

Veronica Newsom teach me how to do this! LOVE her hair!

Start this like a regular braid, but drop the top piece through to the bottom and leave it there. Gently twist the 2 pieces you’re left with upward. Add a new 3rd piece in between + drop it through. Twist again and repeat. Keep going until you get to the back. Tie it with a clear elastic, tuck the end under, and secure with a bobbypin.
