other side of shabby chic loft for mini-guest house. It's a little too ruffly for me, but, i like the idea of how the space is used

Sandra Foster's Catskills, NY dream home does not include a bathroom or a kitchen. It was a complete labor of love to turn it into her personal #shabby-chic retreat. She transformed the 9 x 14 cabin into a beautiful #Victorian #cottage, a space all for herself.

A fabulous Shabby Chic idea for a small space LOVE the books at the top!! Would need a cute wooden ladder to get up there :)

reading nook, book case, cuddly spot, snow white, cottage, shabby chic white, chandelier antiques mixed with intentional design shapes with character. I'd just need a little more space to enjoy the fireplace

Perfect reading space with soothing green tonnes and a beautiful view of the backyard.

Love books and this is a great bookshelf idea...reminds me of old time libraries a bit with the ladder.

wow I love this. Take in the detail. You can make this in your home and make it look like a magazine

Oh my! Imagine if the window had a padded window seat for reading (with a ladder, obviously).

White washed walls give a soft backdrop to the iron bed. The white duvet and blankets invite you to jump in and sleep tight.

I want to one day have a room with shelfs full of books on each wall except one that will have a huge window, then a bed in the middle :)

put wallpaper on accent wall paint the rest with a pale blue, then put wallpaper on large canvas or headboard( made of wood possibly) with modge podge, then put baby picture of engineering print (office depot) on top of wallpaper with headboard.

Liven things up by covering the sofa with a throw, adding some large graphic pillows & covering the back of a neutral chair with a bold print

elegant window treatments and of course a chandelier, Have no idea how I could make it work, maybe Lori could be of help, but would be wonderful to have a chandlier in every room, all different of course.
