Chocolate Rum Balls - this looks especially fab because it's no-bake, starts with a chocolate pound cake, plus she simmers and soaks the raisins in rum. Extra special because she recreated a childhood favorite. Again with the dessication of coconuts :-) ~cww
Rum Balls ~ 1 6-ounce bag of Nestle Toll House semisweet chocolate chips. 3 tbs light corn syrup. 1/2 cup dark rum or bourbon. 2.5 cups vanilla-wafer crumbs (run them through a food processor to get the right consistency). 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar. 1 cup finely chopped walnuts (or whatever nut you prefer)... Boozy and Sweet!
