I love crock pot meals and this one is great because it is so cheap. I replaced the dried basil with Thai Basil leaves I had growing in my herb pot and I also replaced the ketchup with chili paste. We don't eat a lot of carbs any more so we ate this on cauliflower which we some times use in place of rice.
Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken 3 large bone-in, skinless chicken breasts (2 1/2 to 3 lbs) 1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce 1/4 cup blackberry jam 1/4 cup hoisin sauce 2 Tablespoons olive oil 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 cup diced onion 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 1 Tablespoon cornstarch Sliced scallions, for garnish Sesame seeds, for garnish Arrange the chicken breasts in the slow cooker so that they are not overlapping. Cook Low 4-5 hours
Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken this was delicious! And made my house smell wonderful. I used organic chicken with Montreal steak seasoning 4 lemons and three heads of garlic. I used 2 large sprigs of rosemary.but i think i might add even more next time.i am a garlic lover so the cook garlic was soooo good def will make a again yummy light and healthy :)
