There are lots of great recipes out there for Pumpkin Spiced Latte, but I am more of a hot chocolate drinker than a coffee drinker. This is why I decided to give my hot chocolate an awesome pumpkin twist. My friend Char sent me the recipe for her favorite pumpkin spiced latte and I decided to use hot chocolate instead. I figured that it would taste great since I love the pumpkin-chocolate combo in things like pumpkin chocolate chip muffins or pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes. Adding the sweet pumpkin taste to hot chocolate turned out to be a total cinch. I loved the way it tasted, it was the perfect mid-afternoon pick me up for the season! Spiced Pumpkin Hot Chocolate 2 cups of milk 2 tablespoons hot cocoa mix 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree 2 tablespoons granulated sugar Combine the milk, hot cocoa mix, sugar and canned pumpkin into a saucepan and place on medium heat. Stir the contents of the saucepan until it begins to steam, then remove it from the stove and add the spice and vanilla. Pour the mixture into a blender and blend for 15-20 seconds. Once the content has been blended, pour it into a cup and enjoyed!

sledding + hot chocolate = reluctantly falling back in love with winter.

I'd cut the cocoa powder in half, decrease the starch. Made homemade marshmallow fluff to top.
