The Help is still a popular book on several people's reading lists.

The Help - Kathryn Stockett - I loved this book! And the movie wasn't bad, either!

Sweet Home Alabama absolutely LOVE this movie!

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. A thousand times better than the movie., it's a page turner Worth Reading to Read

I read in Southern Living, Kathryn Stockett sent this book to over 60 publishers before one said yes. Power of determination! I didn't want this book to end. Can't wait for the movie.

The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Bonus: this is one of the few books I've read whose movie was ALMOST as good as the book.

I already believed that Heaven is for real, but this book makes you think about what it will be like. Is little Colton's story 100% accurate? I don't know, but I do believe that God takes care of His children, so I wouldn't bet against his depiction.

'Heaven is for Real: A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back' by Todd Burpo;

Listen to the audiobook. The dialects are superb!

The Help

The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Excellent read, loved the movie. Book is so worth a peek.

Great read

On November three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? The only Stephen King book I have ever read, but it was great!

Went to theater to see this with my nieces Jenny and Betsy. We were laughing along when BAM! I don't think any of us realized before going that it was a drama. Such a fantastic and well-done movie, but it ripped our hearts out. I can still remember being exhausted when it was over. It's often on TV, but I've yet to watch more than a scene or two - maybe afraid it will wipe me out again?

Tears of Endearment ~ starring Shirley MacLaine, Debra Winger, & Jack Nicholson. This is another Mother Daughter movie,but I wish everyone a Mother like Shirley if you take ill.
