Cilantro Halibut modified - I used a much simpler preparation than the recipe calls for: Create mixture of panko, italian bread crumbs, grated ginger, minced garlic, finely chopped cilantro, salt, pepper Spread 2 tablespoons of oil over a foil-covered sheet pan and lay fish on top. Press crumb mixture firmly over each fish fillet. Drizzle olive oil over the top, and dot the tops with butter. Bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes, or until fish is flaky. Fantastic! Fantastic.
Halibut with Basil, Garlic and Tomatoes - we made this and skipped the orzo to fit it into our diet plan. We also used cooking wine instead of regular wine. Next time we'd add the orzo or a nice whole grain pasta, use regular wine versus cooking wine, and sprinkle the top of the fish with crumbled feta just before serving. It was very tangy and flavourful!
