I think I can figure out what makes this one secret... The hush that comes over one who is contemplating going through the gate and venturing into the seductive darkness just beyond the shock of light green...That is a secret place for sure... where any number of magical, secretive, breathtaking things may occur! and. . . when you return you must keep the secrets!!!

Use Layers in the Garden: Some of the best gardens use layering -- where you combine layers of plants that grow at different heights. This is a great example; the white alyssum and purple-leafed lobelia in the front set the stage for taller tulips and butterfly flower, which are in turn backed by society garlic and a wall topped by glowing pink bougainvillea.
