Our front yard is divided from our neighbor's yard by a white picket fence and the ugliest thorny trees I've ever seen. I don't even know that I would describe them trees as much as I would giant weeds with trunks. Since we've moved in I've been trying to get an idea for how to make that area lush and beautiful and compliment the white fence... and this is it!

Gorjuss Shade GardenHostas are one of the best easiest ways to fill your garden, shade or sun. The other thing I use a lot of is Coleus. It comes in amazing colours and grows like crazy any where you put it. Colour without flowers or co-ordinate to your flowers
Soothing Garden Retreat Let moss grow between loosely spaced pavers to soften the stone and give it a sense of age and permanence. Varying heights of plants and trees creates a secluded outdoor room. An open, grid-like fence allows for glimpses of mature trees on the other side, adding even more greenery and height to the overall design. Neatly clipped boxwood edges the pathway.
