Ghana, West Africa ~ visiting the markets in Ghana was one of the best ways to feel more like a local.  Such amazing activity, stunning fabrics, handmade beads, local produce, and so many friendly faces.  I miss it so much!!

2/7 #1. How setting affects their everyday life: I chose this as one of my 3 subjects because Tambu and her family deal with having to fetch water and crops to survive. Because of her poverty stricken surroundings she is not able to attend school. I chose this picture to represent the poor state in which Tsitsi and her family are living in .
